Our home features a large , well-lit craft room that is setup and equipped with sturdy tables, comfortable chairs, and a design-wall (made especially with quilters in mind). The craft room is also an ideal workspace to inspire whatever your creative pursuits may be.

About Timberhaze

Timberhaze Retreat is designed for groups of up to 8 people to stay, relax, create, regenerate or to simply enjoy spending time together. We can also “downsize” the house for 1-3 people at a reduced rate (this does not include the use of the craft room). Our home features a large, well-lit craft room that is setup and equipped with sturdy tables, comfortable chairs, and a design-wall (made especially with quilters in mind). The craft room is also an ideal work space to inspire whatever your creative pursuit may be. Alternatively, use the craft room as a meeting space, or for a place to just relax and hang-out.

I stayed at the Timberhaze Retreat with a group of friends for a weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier with my stay! It was very clean with a cozy/homey feel to it. My friends and I felt at home right away. The kitchen had everything we could think of in it so making meals was easily done, cleaning supplies such as laundry detergent(and much more) was available, even towels/washcloths were next to each bed ready for our use. Some of my favorite things were the large living room space and large kitchen table where we could all gather to eat/hangout and the huge craft room where we could do some of our art crafts and play music! I would highly recommend this place for a weekend. I will definitely be going back!

For us quilters, it was convenient to back into the garage next to the craft room & all help unload each vehicle quickly & out of the weather. The craft room has great lightning, in floor heat, 3 big windows with awesome view of the countryside. There's a walking path when it's time for break. Another quilt companion is the best & biggest design board. Surround sound for music & tv to keep us happy. John & Lisa really exceeded all expectations for a crafters paradise. Everything is on one floor. All the rooms are tastefully decorated, top notch. Granite countertops in kitchen & bath. There's a quilt store & bead store 10 min. away. My girlfriends and I stayed at Timberhaze Retreat for a girls weekend in March. We arrived to a clean house in a quiet area, everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend away. I found the beds to be very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied with cooking utensils, and dinnerware. The living room cozy and inviting with a large smart T.V. We enjoyed using the gathering room to work on various craft projects, with large tables and comfortable chairs, we could hang out in there for hours. We appreciated that there was free wifi, and a sound bar to play music. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
