A deposit is required to hold the reservation. The deposit must be paid and must be received within 5 days of making the reservation, otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.
In case a reservation needs to be cancelled, the cancellation date will be considered to be the postmark/received date of the written cancellation notice. All notices of cancellation must be made either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or in writing and mailed to:

Before 31 days: If the reservation is canceled 31 days or more before the first day of the rental period, the deposit will be returned minus a $50 administrative fee.
≤ 30 days: If the reservation is canceled less than 30 days before the first day of the Rental Period, the $250 prepayment will not be refunded, unless the property is booked again for the dates of your reservation. If the property is re-rented, the $250 prepayment (less a $50 administrative fee) will be refunded.
The owner reserves the right to cancel this agreement in the event of an emergency or unforeseen event. In the event of an owner cancellation, all payments will be refunded in full.
Accidents can happen, however the renter and all other tenants or guests agree to maintain the property in good condition and agree to replace or pay for any loss, breakage or damage that is caused by the group or the Renter’s guests. All physical damages and/or excess cleaning due to negligence will be charged at actual restoration costs with minimum labor charges of $40.00/hour. The owner will provide the renter with a bill to be paid within 30 days of receipt should repairs or excess cleaning be required.
